Shunt Signal


Ø  It is a Subsidiary signal for controlling shunt movements.
Ø  It may be placed either on a separate post or below a stop signal.
Ø  It may be provided below any stop signal except FSS.
Ø  When a shunt signal is taken ‘OFF’ it authorizes the LP to draw ahead with caution for shunting even when a stop signal if any is at ‘ON’.
When a shunt signal is placed below a stop signal it shall show no light in the ‘ON’ position
