C/Stand changing procedure

Secure Loco with Skids & Hand brake applied

Change working CS as non working / Leading Loco as Trailing Loco

• Remove RH ensuring TH in IDLE and RH in NEUTRAL (Ensure in DID also)
• Keep A9 in Full Service
• Keep SA9 in Full Application
• Keep LT Switch from LEAD to TRAIL
• Release SA9 & ensure BC Pressure – 5.2 kg/cm²
• If BC pressure dropping – ensure loco is secured with skids & hand brake

Note: Keep ER & GF Slider switch in OFF during MU C/s changing

Change non working CS as working / Trailing Loco as Leading Loco

• Keep SA9 in Full Application
• Keep LT Switch from TRAIL to LEAD
• Ensure Brake Cylinder Pressure – 5.2 kg/cm²
• Keep A9 in Run
• Ensure BP Pressure – 5.2 kg/cm²
• Insert RH in NEUTRAL
• Check working of A9 & SA9
• Remove skids & release hand brake before moving loco

Note: Console 2 Slider Switches to be switched ON during MU C/s changing
