Signal at ‘ON’ without proper authority(GR/SR 3.80)
Ø Guard to inform SM.
Ø SM has to go to spot and feel the brake blocks of few vehicles next to
engine whether they are hot, warm or cool.
Ø SM has to take measurement of distance passed in terms of
vehicle/wagon/rail length in the presence of GDR.
Ø Issue Restarting Memo in duplicate mentioning the incident and countersigned
by guard.
Ø Any signals ahead may be taken ‘off’.
Ø Train to be piloted by a competent Rly servant, if no other signals
available.
Ø Guard to make entry in the CTR.
Ø SM has to get the signature of GDR in the station diary after making
necessary remarks.
Ø Action as per Divisional authorities shall be taken.
Passing Dispatch Signal at ‘ON’
and stopped (GR/SR 3.81)
Ø Guard to inform SM
Ø SM has to go to spot and feel the brake blocks in few vehicles next to
engine whether they are hot, warm or cool.
Ø SM shall measure the distance over shot in terms of vehicle/wagon/rail
length in presence of guard.
Ø Issue Restarting Memo in duplicate mentioning the incident and
countersigned by guard and start the train.
Ø If the LP has passed the starter partly, T/369 (3b) to be issued and PHS
shall be exhibited at the foot of the starter and Advanced Starter can be taken
‘off’.
Ø If the LP has passed the advanced starter partly, T/369 (3b) to be issued
in token area.
Ø As a consequence of having passed the LSS at ON the train entered block
section without Authority to proceed, the train shall be backed clear of block
section by issuing restarting memo. Block working shall be suspended and train
to be started on Line Clear Ticket.
Ø Guard to make entry in the CTR.
