of Caution order
T/409
– Notice station Caution Order
Ø This is issued at
Notice stations.
Ø It is prepared in
four copies by carbon purpose and issued to LP, ALP, Guard and Record.
Ø It is given covering
the sections from one Notice station to the next Notice station.
Ø It is prepared in
geographical order in relation to the direction of the movement of the train.
T/A 409- Nil Caution Order
Ø This Caution Order
is prepared and issued when there are no cautions between two Notice stations.
Ø LP shall start his
train from a notice station only after obtaining T/409 or T/A 409.
T/B
409 - Reminder Caution Order
Ø This is issued other
than notice station, immediately in rear of the Caution spot.
Ø It is issued for all
stopping trains and run through trains stopping out of course.
Ø This Caution order
may be dispensed with for a stopping train if SM is able to communicate through
walkie-talkie and ascertain that the LP is already in possession of caution
order.
T/C 409 - Trolley Caution Order
Ø It is issued
whenever the trolley is on line with the Form T/1518 (caution order protection).
Ø LP has to proceed
cautiously, whistle frequently and be prepared to stop short of the trolley
noticed in the section.
Notice
Station
Ø Notice station is
indicated in WTT for the purpose of issuing caution order.
Ø Normally a train
starting station or a junction station where all trains stop will be designated
as notice station.
Ø Notice station for
passenger trains need not be same for goods trains.
Ø LP and Guard shall
not start a train from notice stations without caution order.
