Whenever Loco moves in opposite
direction of RH, Dynamic brake will apply automatically.
It can be used to prevent rolling
down.
Keep RH in opposite direction of
down gradient.
If loco moves, immediately DB will
be activated by LCC automatically.
Securing of control stand
Keep TH in IDLE & RH in Neutral.
Keep ER & GF slider switches in OFF
position.
Keep Isolation switch in Isolate.
Keep SA9 in Full application
Braking contactors will pickup &
connect the DC link to DB grids
MG / DCL / capacitor voltage is
immediately reduced to below 20 V.
