As far as possible, end Cabs can be made as Active Cabs


MU Cab Changing Procedure:
Stop the loco. Secure loco with skids/wedges and hand brake applied
Lead Loco working Active cab to be made as Non Working Active cab
Remove RH ensuring TH in Idle & RH Neutral
Keep A9 in Full Service
Keep SA9 in Full Application
Keep LT switch from Lead to Trail
Release SA9.
Ensure BC Pressure 5.2 kg/cm2
If pressure is dropping, secure loco with skids/wedges and hand brake applied
Keep ER & GF Slider switch in OFF

Trail Loco Non Working Active cab to be made as Working Active cab
Keep SA9 in Full Application
Keep LT switch from Trail to Lead
Ensure BC Pressure
Keep A9 in Run
Ensure BP Pressure
Ensure working of A9 & SA9

Keep ER & GF Slider switch in ON
