- Couple the locos and ensure proper locking of
CBCs
- Both C / Stand A9 in FS
- One C / Stand LT switch in HLPR &
other in Trail
- Connect BP Pipe & Open Angle COCs
- PCS knockout & Penalty takes place in
Trail Loco
- Penalty will recover once BP charges
completely from lead loco
- Do not keep A9 in Run as per message
- Operate A9 in Lead loco & ensure Conjunction
brake application & Release in Trail loco
Note: If AFL
glowing continuously – keep Lighting breaker OFF
Dead
IRAB Loco Movement with only BP / FP pipe attached
- Ensure Dead loco is secured.
- Couple working loco with dead loco & Ensure
CBC locked properly
- Ensure all Breakers, Switches in OFF &
Battery knife switch is open in dead loco
- Ensure RH in neutral and removed
- Drain out MR1 & MR2 fully and close drain
cock
- Attach BP / FP Pipes and open Angle COCs
- Keep MU2B in TRAIL
- Close BP Charging COC
- Ensure C3W DV isolating COC in open condition
- Ensure MR Pressure charging (5 kg/cm2)
- Operate A9 in Lead loco & ensure
Conjunction brake application & Release in Dead loco
Note: If new
type FP valve provided, close both inlet & outlet COCs
