Power Ground in TM 1, 2 or 3, even after isolating TM, GR1 / TANGI / GDM will
act causing Load meter not responding GRCO1 knife switch can be kept open.

for isolating TM in GE Micro processor Locos
In GE micro
processor locos, Toggle switch is provided.
Position of
Toggle switch of TM to be isolated should be changed

one TM can be isolated

for isolating TM in Medha Micro processor Locos

one TM can be isolated
In Medha
Ver.2 locos, Toggle switch is provided.
Position of
Toggle switch of TM to be isolated should be changed
In Medha
Ver.3 locos, TM isolation is through DID
Select TM
Cut out screen, Select TM and change by pressing the option key
Note: In modified Ver.2, TM
isolation is through DID
TM
isolated in GE and Medha micro processor locos
If 1 TM or
2 TMs in same group is isolated, Loco will start with 4 TMs in SP combination
Power will
be reduced to 2/3rd of rated power
Transition speed
will be reduced to 2/3rd of set value
After
transition, except isolated, remaining TMs will be in P combination
If 2 or
more TMs of different group are isolated, Remaining TMs will start directly in
P combination.
Power will
be reduced as per number of TMs isolated

In Siemens
KM Direct, MCOS rotary switch is provided; only one TM can be isolated
In SIM
control / PLC type, Toggle switch is provided.
More than
